Whether through ground-breaking research collaborations or multi-disciplinary centres, UCL's engagement in Africa and the Middle East reflects the breadth, versatility and dynamism of our many regional partners.

We're proud of our international and multi-cultural community which countsÌý1,214 students from Africa and the Middle East currently studying °ÄÃÅÀúÊ·¿ª½±¼Ç¼ andÌý7,986 UCL alumni in Africa and the Middle East. Meet some of our students, alumni and academics through the slideshow above.

Research, partnerships and projectsÌý

UCL academics have collaborated with higher education institutes in 28 African countries and 12 Middle Eastern countries over the past five years. Our Africa & Middle East Regional Network brings together more than 700 active members of the UCL group. SeeÌýexamples of our impact here.

UCL's Africa & Middle EastÌýRegional Network

Established in 2013, the Africa & Middle East Regional Network facilitates cross-UCL connections and synergies between academic and professional services staff interested in collaborating with partners in the region.
