Bereavement support Ìý

Support sessions for teams/individuals Ìý

Facilitated by Wellbeing Consultant and Coach, Bernadette Davies. Sessions can be virtual or face to face. Costs vary according to numbers of participants and method of delivery. Please email Berni directly for a quote. Ìý

  • Ìý-ÌýGet up to date information on all bereavement support avenues, including local support groups, helplines, information and guidance. You can using a combination of filters to identity services. Ìý
  •  -ÌýContact their free and speak to someone about how you’re feeling. They also offer ongoing support via their where you can access support groups and  Ìý
  • - access if you have lost someone from an illness and need ongoing, consistent support. Ìý

  • - contact their helpline if you have been impacted by the death of a baby. They also provide advice and guidance on who are bereaved.  Ìý

Face to face support for those who feel suicidal   Ìý

  • Ìý- access up to 6 to 8 face to face therapeutic sessions for men who are feeling suicidal.  Ìý
  • Ìý- face to face listening support for those who feel life is no longer worth living. Support is offered on a fortnightly basis for 3 months.  Ìý
  • Ìý- a 4-night, 5 day stay for people who are feeling suicidal.   Ìý

  • Ìý- free service for all UL citizens. Speak to and get impartial advice on workplace rights, rules and best practice.  Ìý

Emotional and mental health supportÌý

  • Ìý- evidence based service, available if you are experiencing anxiety and/or depression. You can or speak to your GP to access this service.  Ìý
  • Ìý- provide confidential mental health information services around types of mental distress, where to get help, drug treatments, alternative therapies and advocacy. Ìý
  • Ìý- call 0300 5000 927 (9.30am - 4pm Monday to Friday). Get expert advice and information on mental health problems. Available to carers,Ìý health professionals, employers and staff.Ìý
  • Ìý- call 0300 304 7000 (4:30pm-10:30pm every day). Access specialist emotional support, guidance and information. Available to friends, families and colleagues of those with mental health conditions.
