We provide support for UCL services on a range of devices. The degree of support varies, depending on the device type (operating system used) and who owns and manages the device.

Self-help guides (devices not managed by ISD)

A range of self-help guides is available for machines using Windows, Mac OS and Linux machines. Ìý

IT Services support (devices not managed by ISD)

At present, ISD IT Services support is available for devices using Windows or Mac OS when using the following services:

  • Wi-Fi (eduroam)
  • Email (live @ UCL)
  • Print (Print @ UCL)
  • File storage (Filestore @ UCL)
  • Remote access (¶Ù±ð²õ°ì³Ù´Ç±è @ U°ä³¢ Anywhere and VPN)

Before contacting the ISD IT Services: ensure your Windows or Mac OS device is up-to-date with the current operating system releaseÌýorÌýone of the two preceding releases. See our help page for details on how to contact the ISD IT Services.

Hardware support: for assistance with hardware problems, or any other issues not listed above, check with your department if assistance is available fromÌýa local IT support team. Alternatively, refer to the information from your device supplier.Ìý

Full support (ISD managed devices - UCL teaching staff machines running ¶Ù±ð²õ°ì³Ù´Ç±è @ U°ä³¢)

For comprehensive support beyond the self-help guides and ISD IT Services (e.g. engineer visits and even device substitution), we recommend that you use our ¶Ù±ð²õ°ì³Ù´Ç±è @ U°ä³¢ service. Currently this is a Windows-based service and is available for UCL staff and on UCL teaching machines. ÌýÌý
