A group including students from the UCL CDT in Data Intensive Science have been awarded 'Best Workshop Paper' at the IEEE combined IOTSTS and SNAMS Conference 2019

This October,ÌýThe ²¹²Ô»åÌý°Õ³ó±ð held their conferences as a co-located event in Granada, Spain.

Amongst the various workshops and papers were a group including staff and students from the UCL CDT in Data Intensive Science. This project, working alongside fashion company ASOS, presented a paper entitledÌý"Where Is My Parcel" Fast and Efficient Classifiers to Detect User Intent in Natural Language, and this paper has received the award for 'Best Paper' at the event.

The team, consisting of UCL CDT Students Constantina Nicolaou andÌýAmal Vaidya, UCL Academics Dr David Wardrope and Prof Nikos Konstantinidis, and Dr Fabon Dzogang of ASOS, presented their paper as part of the 'Advances in Natural Language Processing' section of the event.Ìý
