Description
Structural engineers work with architects to help make design decisions about materials and structural systems that make buildings possible. A principal aim of this course is to help students develop a clear understanding of why things stand up (or don’t fall down), what these things are made of and how they are made. A basic understanding of this is important to unlock the potential of any architectural idea.This course is designed to equip students with some of the essential tools and technical knowledge to allow the development and fruition of their own design thinking, whilst emphasizing the importance of personal research
