The primary aim of BIOL0019 is to enable students to undertake an individual research project of 9 weeks (full time equivalent) duration under supervision. Projects can be based on experimental research, field work, theoretical or data analysis. BIOL0019 does not have lectures beyond an introductory lecture, and a ‘how to write up your project’ lecture.

Please note that you will be asked to indicate preferred topics from a list provided by the Project Tutor. An allocation committee, will then assign specific projects within these topics.
