Aims: To provide students with a thorough understanding of core concepts and methods of macro-economic theory and policy for the open economy.

Assumed knowledge: Students coming in to the course should have knowledge of the 3-equation macroeconomic model of the closed economy and of debt dynamics, as is taught in ECON0017 or equivalent.
