Once the teaching finishes, you will spend the remaining part of the course (to the beginning of September) researching and writing a dissertation of a max. of 18,000 words in length.Ìý
You will be free to choose the topic of your dissertation and will be assigned a supervisor. The dissertation Ìýaddresses a translation studies topic agreed with your supervisor. and can focus on any of the areas discussed in the various modules studied during the programme. Preparation for the dissertation involves a series of seminars on research skills imparted throughout the academic year. The dissertation must be a critical essay, and not an annotated translation, is written under one-to-one supervision and submitted at the beginning of September.Ìý
