7 April 2016

Did Shakespeare really writeÌýRomeo and Juliet? How did physicists detect the Higgs boson? Know it Wall (KiW) is a new public engagement website, based °ÄÃÅÀúÊ·¿ª½±¼Ç¼, that aims to popularise research on these and many other fascinating questions - across all disciplines, from arts to sciences.

KiW takes 1,000-word articles that academics write on research worth sharing with the wider public and turns these into short audio-documentaries (less than 10 minutes long). Once produced, both audio-documentaries and articles are published on KiW's website - - as well as on , and , with an expansion to YouTube (with video-documentaries) currently in development.

The process of getting published on KiWÌýis simple: academics write the article and the KiW team takes care of all the production, from editing the article to narrating the documentary (those especially keen to narrate their own articles are welcome to do so).

UCL academics in any field (including PhD candidates) are strongly encouraged to get involved. If you're interested in taking part, contact Miguel F. Dos Santos (UCL Philosophy):Ìýmiguel.santos.13@ucl.ac.uk.
