Why did you apply to the Political Science Department, UCL?
I have always been drawn to the study of politics, London is the best city in the world, and the fact that the department is one of the best in its field was a huge bonus.

What were your first impressions of the department?
That they were extremely organised, as I received plenty of in-depth information and materials prior to starting the programme.

Tell us about your cohort
Very diverse, yet small, which I think is nice for a masters programme.

Tell us about the teaching and learning
The teaching is world-class, it is very clear how committed the professors are to ensuring such a high quality level of education.

Best thing about your course?
How wide and diverse the choice of modules is.

What advice would you give to overseas students wanting to study in the UK?
°ÄÃÅÀúÊ·¿ª½±¼Ç¼is incredibly accommodating to overseas students, so although it may be daunting, the frameworks within the university are there to support you.

Would you recommend your programme to prospective students & why?
Absolutely! It has been a really fulfilling and worth-while academic experience for me.

How do you envisage your master’s helping with your career aspirations?
I’d like to work in the Foreign Office, or in the Ministry of Defence. Studying this masters has really opened my eyes up to the different routes one can take for a career in politics.

What is your greatest achievement to date?
I’m currently a Soprano for the National Youth Choir of Great Britain!

Was there anything you wish you had known about the application process?
I would have liked the information about the compulsory modules to have been clearer.

Favourite study place on campus?
In Gordon Square (when it’s sunny)!

If you could implement one policy in the world today, what would it be?
Non-discriminatory access to healthcare for transgender people.
