Finding a place to live in London

The first question that many students ask is "where will I live?" If you're coming to study abroad for the full year, you'll be guaranteed a place in UCL accommodation as long as you have firmly accepted your offer to study 澳门历史开奖记录 and applied for accommodation by the deadline. Students coming to UCL for less than a full year will normally be allocated housing, but this cannot be guaranteed.听

UCL has two听types of听accommodation:
  • Catered accommodation in which meals are included (breakfast and an evening dinner from Monday to Friday and brunch at weekends).
  • Self-catered accommodation where you will share kitchen facilities (cooker, refrigerator, freezer, kettle, toaster and microwave) to prepare your own meals.

Fee ranges

As a guide, for the 2024/25听session, fee ranges are as follows:

UCL catered accommodation

  • Single room (not en-suite): 拢225.33 鈥� 拢拢284.90听per week

UCL self-catered accommodation

  • Single room (not en-suite): 拢204.89听鈥� 拢301.00听per week
  • Single room (including en-suite): 拢275.24听鈥� 拢356.02听per week

    Most of our student housing is located within walking distance from the main Bloomsbury campus. Most rooms are single study bedrooms, equipped with a bed, desk, chair, washbasin, bookcase, cupboard and Wi-Fi. The price of UCL allocated housing will vary depending on the location and facilities available; to get an idea of the different types of accommodation you can visit the UCL Student Accommodation website.


    If you'd prefer to make your own arrangements for housing, you can get advice from the University of London Housing Services, who offer advice about finding suitable rented accommodation in London.

    Applying for accommodation

    If you're accepted to study abroad 澳门历史开奖记录 you'll be sent details of how to apply for accommodation with your offer letter. You are encouraged to apply as soon as you can after accepting an offer of admission.
