Report a lost ID card (I have lost my card)
Before you start
You should know that:
- Permanent members of staff (orange banner cards) get fiveÌýcardsÌýbefore they need to payÌýfor replacements.ÌýÌý
- Contractors/visitor/associate staff (black banner cards) get twoÌýcardsÌýbefore they need to payÌýfor replacements.Ìý
- Please note that your first UCL ID card counts as issue one and following that, any cards lost or stolen will count as your second, third, etc.
- The UCL ID card remains the property of UCL and must be returned to UCL Security at the end of your contract or course. The card is non-transferable and must be used by the named cardholder only.
You will need:Ìý
- ID (such as a passportÌýor Driver’s Licence); and
- £15 (if youÌýhave toÌýpay for your replacement card).
- 1. Report the lost card
If you lose your ID card, please report it to Security Systems.ÌýSecurity will then deactivate the card and issue you a new one.Ìý
- 2. If you need to pay for your replacement card
It will cost £15 to replace a lost ID card. Please speak with Andrew Huxley reception staff before making a payment.
- 3. Collect a new card from Security Systems
You will need to go to the Security Systems office and bring a piece of photographic IDÌýsuch as a Passport, Drivers licence, BRP or EU ID card. Please note that we photocopies or digital copies are NOT accepted.
